What do you have to offer?

by P. Braithwaite

I started a six-month training with The Institute for Compassionate Leadership this weekend (more on that later), and one of our activities was to write what we offer to the world (in ten minutes…lol). We could be as general or specific as we wanted, BUT, it was supposed to be limited to four sentences (I went over slightly).

I had trouble distinguishing b/w accomplishments and true offerings, but here’s what I ended up with:

I offer the understanding that love is intelligence, a form of intellect I nourish in myself and others. I am a relentless student of my own expansion, always with the premise that my expansion feeds collective good. I offer my stories and my ear as honestly as I can in any moment, always erring toward self-forgiveness when I miss the mark (which is often). I exhale; I extend; I offer.
